Welcome to Hindi Literature Today
Hindi Literature Today (HLT) is an initiative by poet and writer Kalpna Singh-Chitnis (कल्पना सिंह). Launched on World Hindi Day, January 10th, 2021, the journal is managed by River Paw Press, USA.
Its mission is to bring the best of Hindi poetry from across the continents translated into English for readership and critical studies. Moreover, it aims to bring other genres of literature from Hindi into English and world languages to advance Hindi literature internationally.
Hindi, an official language in India is the most common language spoken in the country and the fourth largest language globally used, after Mandarin, Spanish, and English.
